Our client is looking for a Personal Assistant to the Sales Director of an ambitious and exciting global organisation making a difference in both their sector and corporate responsibility. As the Personal Assistant to the Sales Director you will provide general administrative and secretarial support to aid them in reaching targets and deliver on strategic business unit goals.

As the Personal Assistant to the Sales Director you will:

  • Proving secretarial and administrative support ensuring a smooth operation and achievement of strategic objectives
  • manage schedules including Diary, travel itineraries for domestic and international travel, project schedules and status
  • Record, produce and distribute minutes of management meetings and follow up on outstanding items, prepare meeting agendas, arrange all meeting logistics and facilities
  • Draft letters and correspondence and prepare reports and statistical information for distribution
  • Maintain the flow of information to colleagues as required and process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Maintain and update files, manage hard copy and electronic files and records
  • Prepare, complete and submit expense claims and expense reports
  • Prepare and create presentations, co-ordinate less complex internal or office events
  • Answer and screen telephone calls and respond to and resolve any queries or escalate as needed
  • Establish and manage relationships with clients
  • Administer the sales order and purchase order processes
  • Manage client costs and ensure access to pricing, capture data and produce reports as required

The ideal Personal Assistant will:

  • Have previous experience supporting senior executives within a global organisation and Sales administration experience
  • Have a proactive approach, good attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills and be service orientated
  • Be able to demonstrate a positive attitude and cope well under pressure
  • Have strong organisational skills and keep confidentiality, discretion and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information
  • Have good interpersonal skills and be confident liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
