On-site Engineer

£25,000 - £32,000pa


Our client located in Alton is looking for an On-site Engineer to join their expanding team for clients based in the South East to maintain and service all onsite equipment, ensuring that repairs and maintenance are carried out in and efficient and effective manner.


As the On-site Engineer you will:

Travel to sites across the UK – mostly in and around the South-East

  • Carry out repairs, including welding, servicing and setting up of equipment – mainly non-mechanical plant and machinery
  • Record all work activities and obtaining customer ‘sign-off’
  • Liaise with After Sales Manager to establish daily work organisation and confirm arrival to site with customer
  • Sign off equipment on behalf of the company
  • Sign off daily defect sheets on vehicle – check stock levels of parts and kit, fuelling, cleaning, etc


As the On-site Engineer you will:

  • Be diligent and have good attention to detail
  • Have a professional manner and good customer service skills
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be adaptable and think outside the box
  • Have excellent organisation and planning skills
  • Be a team player
  • Welding mechanics experience desirable but not essential
