£26,400pa OTE £40K + Car Allowance


An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client for an additional Business Development Manager to join their team. The role is fulltime based from their office in Alton, Hampshire looking after accounts primarily in the UK, although they do have a small number of global accounts.

As Business Manager you will:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions
  • Develop new business
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities

As Business Manager your skills and experience will ideally include:

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, New Sales, Business Development or relevant role
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence customers at all levels
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Act! Or similar) and MS Office
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Be a team player
  • Hold a full UK Driving License
  • Be prepared to travel as the role requires
