Our Client is a growing and dynamic company seeking an Account Manager to be the single point of contact for an external sales team member and existing client accounts.  Our client offers potential to develop and progress within the company.


As the Account Manager you will:

  • Provide quotations with set SLA times
  • Look for opportunities to maximise deal size
  • Work to financial targets as well as KPI’s
  • Provide a high level of customer service to Accounts as an internal dedicated resource
  • Issue quotations and process purchase orders as well as completing administrative tasks as and when necessary including loans, deal registration, deliveries and logistics
  • Drive attendance to company events and webinars
  • Keep the CRM database up to date with the correct details
  • Assist and manage renewals business with a view to upsell and cross sell
  • Provide support (both administrative and sales) to allocated external sales team members with end goal of helping exceed targets and widen the range of services and solutions offered to customers
  • Ensure the smooth running of the sales cycle from preparation to deal completion by liaising with key stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships to enhance and promote sales


The ideal Account Manager will:

  • Be able to understand a diverse range of products keeping up to date with features and pricing
  • Be able to maintain strong internal relationships
  • Have strong communication skills with a good telephone manner
  • Be commercially aware
  • Have strong attention to detail with good administrative skills
  • Be a fast learner who takes responsibility for personal development also having a strong desire to work to and surpass targets
  • Be a self-starter who is able to motivate themselves and take a positive approach to their work
  • Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
  • Have the ability to problem solve and stay calm under pressure
  • Have knowledge of the IT Industry would be ideal but not essential
